Landscaping at The Boroondara Sports Complex
There are grounds, courts, and cafes within the Boroondara Sports Complex, making it an excellent location for both sports and pleasure. Our team worked on Commercial Exterior Design Services that was finished in August 2020. At the Boroondara Sports Complex, the project involved installing artificial grass and landscaping. A surface made of synthetic fibers that resemble real grass is known as artificial turf.
For recreational spaces like bocce ball courts, tennis courts, putting greens, and patio surfaces, artificial turf is perfect. It can handle heavy foot traffic and has a high level of wear and tear resistance. It can also be utilized in regions with unusual shapes or in a variety of patterns because it is simple to cut and shape.
It’s frequently misunderstood how little upkeep it needs. No matter how often it is emphasized, one of the significant advantages of artificial turf is that it requires less care.
Artificial Grass
Artificial grass is incredibly durable and can withstand the repeated pressure of being stepped on. As long as the filler is present, the turf blades will bounce back and continue to stand upright.
Artificial turf doesn’t need direct sunlight, unlike genuine grass, which can wilt and die in shadowed regions. Synthetic turf thrives in the shade because it keeps its color and size whether it receives sunlight or water. Artificial turf is lovely and vibrant without routine fertilization because it doesn’t grow or spread. The grass will stay healthy, lush, and toxic-free. In addition to harming the surrounding ecosystem, harsh fertilizers can also cause an overgrowth of algae in streams, rivers, ponds, and lakes. The preservation of existing plants and the addition of new species to adorn the sports complex made it possible to enhance the public space in addition to artificial turfing.
